Executive Director
Raymond has over 22 years of experience in teaching, training, project management, and monitoring & evaluation. He has held senior roles, including Director level positions, on projects funded by USAID, DFID, GIZ, UKAID, and the Mastercard Foundation. Raymond has also served in local government leadership, conducted consultancies in curriculum design and development, and led the Department of Curriculum Studies at the University of Rwanda. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (Uganda Management Institute) and an M.A. in Curriculum Design, Media, and Instruction Studies (Makerere University, Kampala).
Human Resource & Field coordinator
Salume holds a B.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Makerere University and additional certifications in Microsoft Applications, Labour Standards, Financial Management, and PSEA. She has over four years of experience with local government and international NGOs, including CARE International and CorpsAfrica, in HR and field coordination roles. Passionate about development and human resource management, she brings expertise in project coordination, community mobilization, and capacity building to support sustainable social change.
Project Manager & Community Enterprises
Robert has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, strategic planning, procurement, and project sustainability. He has managed government projects in Uganda and provided consultancy in procurement, training, and community development with a focus on youth job creation and financial literacy. Robert is a certified member of the UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and holds an MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute, Tanzania, and a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.
Capacity Building & Training Specialist
Sharon is a trainer and entrepreneur with over three years of experience in youth and community empowerment. She has supported communities in Uganda to develop income generating activities and volunteered with CorpsAfrica/Uganda to advance opportunities for women, men, and young people. A member of the Rotaract Club of Makindye West, she has held multiple leadership roles and is skilled in Human Centered Design, Asset based Community Development, and team management. Sharon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies with Education from Kyambogo University.
Resilience & Wellness Coordinator
Babirye holds a B.Sc. in Nursing from Mbarara University and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at Makerere University. She has over three years of experience in nursing, community work, counseling, and project management, having worked with NGOs, hospitals, and training centers. At CorpsAfrica/Uganda, she empowered youth, women, and men through poverty alleviation initiatives, while at Nakasero Hospital she served as a critical care nurse. She is passionate about wellness, resilience, and psychosocial support, with experience in mentoring youth and guiding students toward personal and professional growth.
Innovation Advisor
Over the years, Dr. Ebenezer has presented to organisations like USAID, the UN, Stanford, Ohio State University, MIT, and several other universities both in the US and abroad to encourage the use of the DPB. In 2006, Dr. Ebenezer retired and established a non-profit, Technology for the Poor, to promote the adoption of appropriate technology around the world.
Education & Skilling Advisor
Jason received his BA in Industrial Design from Ohio State University and his MA in New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He works primarily in the fields of visual art, film and video, and design; however, he has also worked extensively in the fields of agriculture, beekeeping, woodworking, metalworking, and mechanics. He worked as a project manager at Ann Hamilton Studio, and co-founded the Third Hand Bicycle Cooperative (Columbus, Ohio). He is currently focusing his energy on grassroots development projects through the non-profit organizations Technology for the Poor and Social Seed.
Web & Digital Media Coordinator
Shibah oversees the NGO’s online presence by designing and maintaining the organization’s website, managing social media platforms, and ensuring clear, engaging communication with our community and connects with supporters worldwide.
Director of finance, resource mobilisation and partnerships
Derrick holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing with multiple certificates in CISCO and other computer applications, fundraising, and resource mobilization. He has over 30 years of experience in financial management, resource mobilization, and partnership development within the non-profit and social enterprise sectors. Skilled in developing sustainable financing strategies, managing donor relations, and ensuring effective utilization of organizational resources. Demonstrates strong leadership in mobilizing funds from diverse sources, including donors, government agencies, private sector partners, and community based initiatives. Derrick has worked in banks, government offices, private sector in the same roles and is a results oriented person.
Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist
Ashiraf holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Busitema University,Soroti, with multiple certificates in data analysis, crop management, integrated pest management, artificial insemination and breeding, environmental impact assessment, and value chain development. He has over three years of experience working with the local government and international NGOs as an Agricultural and extension officer. He is a dedicated and self-driven person with hands-on experience in project management, environmental advocacy, animal husbandry, entrepreneurship, and agricultural functions: strong interpersonal skills and a participatory leadership approach in driving social change and sustainable development.
